For New, Commissioned Works:

Wind Arrangements for a full 8 minute show:   

    Small Score (generally 11 staves or fewer) Arranged Music - $1500

    Small Score Original Music OR Large Score (12 or more staves) Arranged Music - $2000

    Large Score Original Music - $2500

Percussion Arrangements for a full 8 minute show are charged at a flat rate of $1200 (battery and front ensemble parts).

Generally, a $500 deposit is necessary to complete the writing contract and to get started. The remaining balance can be fall-billed, paid up front or made in payments.

*Wind arrangements are not sold separate from the percussion parts. Individual movements are available for purchase (contact me for specific prices on individual movements).

**Indoor Drumline shows are available through their respective publisher (click the show title to visit the publisher’s website).

Commissions for concert works are not quite so cut and dry, therefore it’s not possible for me to list any sort of pricing scheme here. Having said that, though, please bear in mind that I feel that what I charge for these sorts of projects is extremely reasonable.

If you are unsure if you can afford to commission a work by me, consider setting up a consortium. This is a great way to share the cost of a newly commissioned work with other performers. It will also attract more attention to the new work and will help to publicize the various premieres of the work.
